As part of this series, MCS invites speakers who come from fundamentally different positions on an important social issue to speak, disagree, and argue their case. Our guests for this topic were:

Both speakers raised some fascinating points, on everything from the origins of racism to questions of what racism means in contemporary British society and what steps should we take to challenge the continued problem of racial inequality and injustice. While disagreeing on several aspects of race and racism in British society, there were many points our speakers agreed on, and pupils had the opportunity to ask questions  after a thought-provoking debate.

Many thanks to Kiesha and Inaya for joining us!
