  • Introduction

  • This online form will allow you to register for a specific year of entry, and you will be able to review it before submitting it. Should you have any difficulty in accessing or completing the form, please do not hesitate to contact the Registrar at registrar@mcsoxford.org or 01865 242191.

The application deadline has now passed for September 2021. If you are looking at 2021 entry please contact us before attempting to register.

Before beginning, please make sure that you have read our entry requirements. For international applicants, please note that we are a day school and require our pupils to be living with their parent(s) in the Oxford area while attending the school.

To complete the form, you will be asked to upload a copy of the photo page of your child's passport or birth certificate. Please do therefore ensure you have electronic copies available. Passport or birth certificate scans will be held securely and for the duration of the admissions process only, following which they will be deleted from our systems unless you advise us otherwise (for example, because you wish to make a future application). Applicants for the Sixth Form will need to indicate their preferred A Level options as part of the Registration process to enable us to arrange subject interviews.

At the end of the form you will be asked to make the registration payment to complete your application. The registration fee is £100 for UK applicants and £200 for applicants to the Senior School and Sixth Form currently living overseas. The fee is non-refundable so if you have any queries about relocation, year of entry or any other aspects of your registration, please email registrar@mcsoxford.org or call 01865 242191 to discuss before making payment.

If you are applying for the Senior School and are in in receipt of Universal Credit or your child is eligible for free school meals, please contact the Registrar to discuss the registration fee.

The information you provide in the Registration Form will be used by MCS to manage your child’s application. For example, we may contact your child's current school to ask for a reference or we may contact other people with parental responsibility to check that they consent to your child joining MCS.

The information provided on this form will be processed electronically and is subject to the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation of 2018. Our privacy policy can be found at www.mcsoxford.org/privacy-policy

  • Date of Birth

  • If your son or daughter’s date of birth falls outside the normal intake for their school year, please email the admissions office explaining their circumstances – registrar@mcsoxford.org
  • Entry Age

Families of boys applying for assessment in Year 6 must choose either 11+ entry (Year 7) to MCS Senior School or 13+ entry (Year 9) to MCS Senior School. You may not register for both.
There are two methods of entry to the school at 13+ (Year 9). Boys at preparatory schools should sit our Pre-test when they are in Year 6 and all other applicants looking to join in Year 9 should sit the 13+ Entrance Examination.
  • Please don't proceed until you have confirmed with the Registrar that it is possible for your son or daughter to join MCS.
  • A Level Options

  • Please select three or four subjects you wish to study at A Level. All subjects count as one A Level with exception of “Mathematics and Further Mathematics” which are 2 A Levels.

  • Please include any further notes regarding your A Level subject choices.
  • Agreement

  • Both parents agree to the application (unless sole custody) and you consent to us contacting your son or daughter’s current school for a reference. Please be aware that should your son or daughter be offered a place, both parents or each of those with parental and/or financial responsibility will be required to sign the Acceptance Form.

We have read and accept the School’s privacy policy. This is available on the School's website and may undergo reasonable changes from time to time as circumstances require. We understand that the School may be contacting us until the data retention period is met or until we notify the School that we no longer wish to be contacted.
