MCS pupils achieve perennially strong A-level results.  2020 has been a challenging and anomalous year, but this should not detract from the resilience and endeavour of pupils and their teachers.

A Level

MCS once again reports strong 2020 A Level Results: over 99% of all results were graded A*-B, with over 87% of grades at A*-A and 54% at A*.

Master Helen Pike said, “I am so proud of our talented A Level students.  They have shown exceptional resilience and good cheer in the face of an extraordinary year, and their resilience will be a key attribute in their future success, too.”

Individual successes so far include five pupils who attained 5 A*s: Head Boy James and Bocheng will both study Natural Sciences at Cambridge, Michael will study Natural Sciences at Imperial, Kiarash will study Physics at Imperial and Robert will study Medicine at Cambridge.

Destinations 2020

Oxbridge and Durham were the three most popular destinations, with the vast majority of pupils going to Russell Group Universities.
