Rugby

House Touch Rugby took place on Saturday, once again in glorious conditions. House Captains were given the opportunity to organise and discuss tactics in the lead up to the final rugby event of this term.

All matches were played in a round-robin format with valuable points on offer.

Thank you to all of the staff for the support on the touchlines, alongside referees and organisers for each year group. There were a number of fantastic matches with lots of competitions decided by a single score!

Overall Winners:

Second Form – Chavasse

Third Form – Leicester

Lower Forth – Maltby

Upper Forth – Chavasse

Fifth Form – Maltby

Sixth Form – Callender

If you combined the average placing for every age group, the final standings would be as follows:

6th – Walker

5th – Wilkinson

4th – Leicester

3rd – Callender

2nd – Chavasse

1st – Maltby

Well done to Maltby for taking the day overall!

We begin now to look forward to the hockey term. The Lower and Middle School, in particular, will be playing in large numbers so it’s a good time to get your hockey stick down from the loft or maybe add one to your Christmas list!
