Actor and OW Barney White (2010) returned to the school to judge the annual house drama competition on Friday 12 October.
The actor, who has appeared in TV series such as The Musketeers,Taboo and Holby City and films including Una and Social Suicide, judged Chavasse’s performance of Batman and Robin the winner of the competition. The play was adapted by Stanley Righton, an Upper Sixth student.
Maltby won second place with their rendition of The Play That Goes Wrong by Shields, Lewis and Sayer (adapted by Alex Ansdell, Upper Sixth). The third prize was awarded to Walker, who performed A Long Day’s Journey Into Night by Eugene O’Neill (adapted by Wynn Tasker, Upper Sixth).
