A group of young entrepreneurs from Magdalen College School had the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, during a special mentoring session held on Monday.

More than 20 pupils from the Upper Fourth, Fifth, and Lower Sixth forms participated in the Entrepreneurship Mentoring Session, where MBA Director Matthew Conisbee (OW 1996) gave a speech to those assembled. They then presented their business solutions to a range of challenges. Among the ideas presented were; strategies to combat sleep deprivation, facilitate school notes sharing, and promote teenage wellness.

They delivered their presentations to a panel of ten experienced MBA mentors, who offered both group and individual guidance. The mentors were very impressed by the level of maturity and professionalism displayed by the young participants, and the valuable advice given from the mentors’ wealth of experience was gratefully received by the pupils.

The session provided an excellent platform for MCS pupils to refine their entrepreneurial skills and gain exposure of the world of business at a prestigious institution like the Saïd Business School. The event served as a testament to the mission of Oxford Business Networks, and our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
