The Sunday Times Parent Power List 2022 has been published, with MCS ranking fourth Independent School nationally and second in the Southeast. MCS is the top independent secondary to educate boys only at 11+. No other schools in Oxfordshire make the top 10.
The Sunday Times guide to Britain’s highest-achieving schools, now in its The 29th edition, takes into account the unprecedented disruption to public examinations since March 2020. This year, the list has taken a three-year average of academic outcomes released to the paper in 2019, 2018, 2017 to produce a series of tables that reflect pre-pandemic performance in “normal” times.
