We are pleased to share that the 2026 Partnerships Report is now available, showcasing the collaborations and community initiatives that help us extend our reach in Oxford and beyond. Alongside this, the 2026 Sustainability Report sets out the steps and activities we are undertaking to progress towards our ambition of becoming net-zero.
During a busy year of partnerships activities, we were delighted to host The Schools Partnership Alliance annual conference in November – an important opportunity to celebrate, learn from and advance partnerships practice. The event provided a good opportunity to showcase our Bridge-extension programme for local primary pupils, which has gone from strength to strength. We were also pleased to welcome conference delegates to OxCOP, our model COP climate event organised in partnership with the Oxford Schools Sustainability Network. We also held our first Slow Fashion event, to raise awareness of the harms caused by fast fashion; celebrate the wonders of borrowing, buying second-hand and mending; and to raise money for the Oxford Samaritans, our charity this year.
Helen Pike, Master, said: “2025 marked a critical year of progress for partnerships at MCS. With the educational environment ever more challenging for many, we redoubled our efforts – focusing on strengthening and extending relationships, and listening and responding to our partners about where and how we could add most value.”
Bob Price, Chairman, said: “I am delighted that MCS pupils and staff are fully embracing the challenge of securing long term environmental sustainability, and initiating new projects to support that objective.”
We continually seek new collaborations, so please do get in touch via [email protected] if you would like to explore an idea or project.
