Young readers, budding detectives and curious families are invited to join us for a special afternoon of interactive storytelling with The Story Museum on Sunday 13 September.
Taking place at the MCS Junior School, these lively sessions are inspired by the museum’s popular exhibition Mystery Academy – School for Young Detectives, and will combine the magic of storytelling with the thrill of solving mysteries.

Aimed at children aged 6 and above, and their parents, each session will bring stories to life through audience participation, imaginative problem-solving and creative play. Expect mysterious tales, clues to unravel, dress up and props to spark new story ideas.
Whether you’re an enthusiastic bookworm, an aspiring detective or simply love a good story, this is a wonderful chance to unlock your imagination and become part of the adventure.
The free sessions will run on a first-come, first-served basis at:
The event forms part of Oxford Open Doors, and visitors will also have the opportunity to explore our beautiful Rose Garden, which will be open throughout the afternoon.

We look forward to welcoming you for an afternoon of stories, mystery and discovery.
