We are delighted you are considering MCS for your son or daughter. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our academic offer, and we are passionate about creating an educational environment in which academically able children thrive.

MCS has always been a diverse and inclusive community. We are proud to be known as a kind, friendly and inclusive school, where each child is valued. It is from this position of respect and appreciation for others that we will welcome all new pupils, girls and boys.

Timeline

Our transition to full co-education will be gradual, with girls joining in Years 3 and 4 in the Junior School in September 2027, and in Year 7 in the Senior School in September 2030. They will join a flourishing cohort of Sixth Form girls, who – along with the Sixth Form boys who learn alongside them – make a strong and positive impact on day-to-day life at MCS, and provide excellent role models for younger pupils in the school.

This gradual approach, with girls finally being in all year groups throughout the school from September 2034, means that any family whose son or daughter joins MCS in a co-educational year group will be doing so by choice.
