Trips

Every department at MCS runs day trips each year, both as part of the curriculum and for extension. We also run a broad range of residential trips throughout the year. The experiences they provide to our pupils are both academically enriching and culturally exciting.

Community partnerships

Service is at the heart of our mission and all Lower Sixth pupils undertake a placement with one of our partners – giving some 7,500 hours as a group across a typical year. Placements include volunteering at the Rose Hill Community Larder; leading Science, Maths or Reading clubs in local primary schools; or teaching local children a musical instrument.

Beyond the Sixth Form

From the moment you join MCS, you become part of a community made up of current pupils and parents as well as Old Waynfletes (former pupils), former parents and friends. OWs meet for many events throughout the year, including Christmas drinks in London and Oxford at which we look forward to seeing our recent leavers.
