
MCS pupils celebrating their A Level Results this morning
Pupils at Magdalen College School are celebrating an excellent set of A Level results. The school is delighted to report that 93% of grades were awarded at A*-B, with 79% at A*-A and 40% at A*. In addition, 38 pupils (around a quarter of the year) attained 3 A*s or more, with 31 achieving 4 A*s or more and 7 achieving 5 A*s. All pupils in receipt of full bursaries achieved grade A* or A in all their subjects.
Pupils will be heading to some of the UK’s top universities including Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial to read subjects ranging from Aerospace Engineering to Theology. 13 pupils will be studying medicine or dentistry, while 24 pupils have won places at Oxbridge or Ivy League universities.

Amongst those celebrating are Roman, Kamil, William, Mantas, Edward, Winston and Oscar – who was President of Oxfordshire schools’ sustainability conference OxCOP, at the Town Hall in November. All attained 5 A*s and move on to Oxford, Cambridge, and Warwick universities, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with Edward having also been awarded an organ scholarship from Sidney Sussex, Cambridge.
