The MCS Art Department was pleased to welcome pupils, staff and families to this year’s Summer Art Exhibition this week, showcasing a wide range of work produced by pupils throughout the academic year.

The exhibition features GCSE and A-level artwork, offering visitors the opportunity to see the creativity, technical skill and personal development that pupils have demonstrated across a variety of disciplines. Each piece reflects months of exploration, experimentation and refinement, culminating in a collection that celebrates their achievements.

Scholars’ photography

It has been another busy year for Art at MCS, with pupils taking part in a range of creative opportunities, including a charcoal drawing workshop led by respected artist Jeanette Barnes. The department also hosted its annual photography competition, showcasing striking collection of black and white images created by pupils.

It was wonderful to see our pupils’ hard work and creativity on display, and we look forward to seeing how they continue to develop next year.
