OW Alan Kestner (1965) will have his artwork exhibited in a showcase at the North Wall Arts Centre in Oxford between Friday 20 July and Thursday 16 August.
The theme of the collected works is ‘Storytelling Revisited’: the aim of the images, according to Alan, is to juxtapose illustration with well-known texts, though the exhibition does include some original paintings without epigraph, such as the pieces ‘Jacob’s Ladder’, ‘Song of the Birds’ and ‘Little Tin Soldier’.
The entrance to the Gallery gallery is on South Parade in Summertown. Opening times will be 10am to 4pm on weekdays, with the exhibition open between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday, except on Saturday 4 August when the Arts Centre will be closed.
