MCS was informed in June 2020 that Barry Hurst had died the previous month.
After leaving MCS Barry worked in advertising for a long while at Oxford Mail, and subsequently BMC (Morris Motors). Barry and his wife Sue moved to the New Forest in the 1960s, where Barry latterly worked as an art dealer and picture framer alongside Sue, who dealt in antique jewellery. Barry was a classic car enthusiast in his spare time, taking pleasure in his 1960s Austin Healey.
