We were notified by Geoff’s brother Martin (OW 1956) that Geoff died on 24 August 2018. Martin sent us the following words.
Geoff had two or three years non-academic jobs before going to teacher training at Bishop Otter College in Chichester, where he met Wendy, his wife to be. They lived in Crawley, where he taught in primary schools. Later in Oxfordshire, they lived in Charlbury and he became headmaster of two primary schools. They had two daughters. After retirement, Geoff did a degree in Art and did a great deal of painting, as well as doing picture framing in Woodstock.
