The Waynflete Office has sadly been informed by his brother Alan of the death of Clive Oliver at the age of 82.
Clive was captain of tennis at Magdalen College School, and was a member of an exceptional rugby 1st XV.
After leaving MCS, Clive read Chemistry at the University of St Andrews. Clive spent his working life in Bristol. He set up a company, Technical Converters, which specialises in joining different materials together.
Clive led a very active life and continued to place tennis, gold and squash until he suffered too much from Parkinson’s.
He is survived by his brother Alan, wife Anne and children Jackie and John.
