We are very proud to announce that Sashank (Upper Fourth) was invited the speak at the launch of the State of Child Health (SOCH) report in Parliament last week.

Sashank presented the key priorities for children and how MPs could support the SOCH project. He performed well and was commended by the president of The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and other attending dignitaries.

The State of Child Health 2020 highlights what policy changes are needed to ensure all children and young people have the best start in life, utilising comparable UK data across nearly 30 child health and wellbeing indicators to produce a range of associated policy recommendations aimed at improving child health outcomes.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is a UK wide charity, working to ensure that the voice of children, young people and families makes a difference in child health and healthcare for young patients.

Sashank has been volunteering with RCPCH since the start of the school year.

Well done, Sashank, on this exceptional achievement.
