On Friday 12 June, a virtual site tour hosted live from Uganda gave pupils their first real look at our new partner primary school, the Mustardseed School, in Sentema. It proved an invaluable opportunity for them to hear from the Lead Architect, Engineers and Landscape Designers tasked with constructing the ecologically-friendly school.
Since the Master visited in February, the build has progressed quickly with a roof now in place, windows fitted and work in motion on some of the school’s most exciting features, like it’s outdoor classrooms designed to immerse pupils in Uganda’s biodiversity and help them think sustainably about caring for their environment.
To mark our inaugural Founders’ Day on Friday 19 June, pupils will be spending the day completing a sponsored challenge to raise funds for the Mustardseed School.
