Congratulations to Fourth Former Oyare who won the triple jump gold at the U15/U17 National Athletics Championships in Bedford with the longest jump in the country this year. He jumped 13.31m in the 3rd round of the triple jump to secure the win and rank 1st in the UK.
Head of Rugby and Athletics Grant Seely said “Oyare enjoyed a fantastic first season of Athletics at MCS. He had an unbeaten season in the triple jump and has continued his form into the summer months to produce an outstanding jump. He has worked incredibly hard and I look forwardto seeing him jump further over the next few years.”
