This year’s Junior School Sports Day took place before half term under blue skies, providing an ideal setting for an afternoon of spirited competition and camaraderie. Boys from J1 to J4 took to School Field with effort and enthusiasm, showcasing their athletic skills across a wide range of events.

From the sprint track to the hurdles, the boys gave maximum effort and supported one another with great spirit. The high jump and long jump mats saw some impressive leaps, while the vortex throw highlighted the boys’ strength and coordination.

Throughout the afternoon, there was a noticeable sense of sportsmanship and teamwork among the year groups. Whether waiting for their turn or cheering on a friend, the boys embodied the values of mutual support and encouragement that lie at the heart of the school’s ethos.

Thanks are due to the staff and Sixth Form helpers who ensured the smooth running of the day, and to the parents who came along to watch and support. Most importantly, the boys approached each event with a positive attitude and gave their best effort – something worthy of recognition in itself.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and a fine reflection of the energy and spirit of the Junior School.
