During the October half-term, a group of Fifth Form pupils spent five days in a surprisingly sunny Berlin, exploring the fascinating history and culture of the city, while improving and practicing their spoken German.

The pupils spent the mornings in language lessons with native speakers in a school situated near their hotel. In the afternoons they visited some of Berlin’s many historical and cultural attractions, including the Television Tower, the Parliament Building, Museum Island, and the Cathedral. They also had an opportunity to take a boat tour along the river Spree. In the evenings, they sampled tasty German food in a number of different restaurants.
