Pupils study Geography A-level in Sixth Form at Magdalen College School Oxford

Come along to this event to find out more about the realities of teaching in the independent school sector in the UK, and about the different ways that you can gain experience and teaching qualifications in the independent sector.

Speakers will cover the full range of different options including the Waynflete Teaching Certificate (based in Magdalen College School), other routes to PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status as well as tips for responding to advertised posts, gaining experience and making speculative applications to schools.

This event is being hosted by Magdalen College School, with input from Oxford University’s Career Service and other Oxfordshire independent schools and PGCE providers. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A and informal conversations over a drink.
