On 3 April 2020 pupils took part in Debating Matters – a fully virtual debating competition between MCS and Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Faversham.
The topic was “social media sites should filter out fake news”, with MCS proposing. Teams of two from each school, and three judges, battled it out over Zoom, with MCS coming a very close second.
Well done to all the pupils who took part! We hope this is the first of many virtual competitions over the coming months.
