Thursday 8 October | 5.30pm

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our Taster Evening.

We hope it will be an enjoyable and relaxed opportunity for you and your child to get to know the school, meet some of our pupils and staff, and gain a sense of what it might be like to be a pupil here.

What to expect

When you arrive, our friendly prefects will be waiting to guide you to Big School where you’ll get your name badges. Then, while parents stay in Big School for talks, your child will be taken to the Dining Hall to get some food, before taking part in two short taster lessons, as part of a small group.

5.00-5.20pm Arrive in Big School to collect your badges. Boys will then be taken to the Dining Hall
5.30pm Boys will have pizza in the Dining Hall, while parents stay in Big School for talks
5.50pm Taster Lesson 1
6.25pm Taster Lesson 2
6.30pm Talks will end and parents will have time to chat to staff and prefects over refreshments
6.55pm Boys will be brought back to Big School, ready to go home

Please reassure your child that they will be looked after by our prefects throughout their visit – they will show them where to go and when, so they don’t need to worry! We don’t expect them to find their way around.
