Anthony V Day, known as Tony, was close friends with fellow OW Nigel Ferriman (1944) , and like Nigel, attended Loughborough College with Nigel after MCS. Tony followed an Electrical Engineering course and later worked at GEC Coventry until his retirement.
Nigel and Tony met at MCS in 1937 and remained firm friends for some 75 years. Both had very happy marriages and happy famililes, and both were respected members of their local communities.
