The Waynflete Office learnt of the death of John Shuter, who sadly passed away on 17th July 2017. The following obituary comes from The Telegraph:
‘John Stanley Shuter died peacefully on 17th July 2017 aged 95. John (Also known as Jack) served his country in war and in peace at home and in different countries in 6 continents. He spent the last dozen years of his life as a pensioner at The Royal Hospital Chelsea, whom he represented with distinction on many occasions and who looked after him wonderfully well during his time there. He will be missed by family and friends who will cherish their memories of him.’
