The Waynflete Office has been informed of the death of Colin Williamson at the age of 85.
This obituary was printed in his local paper The Craven Herald:
Colin Williamson died peacefully at Airedale General Hospital on June 1. Colin (‘Cyrus’ or ‘sir’) was former Head of Classics and Deputy Head Master of Ermysted’s Grammar School, Skipton, and was a resident of Embsay and latterly Threshfield Court Care Home. Dearly loved husband of Dilys, proud and loving dad of Martin, Elaine and Hazel, dear grandad of Dan, Ben and Emily and a loving father-in-law and great-grandad.
