The school learned that Chris passed away on 3 December 2014. The following notice was published in the Trinity Mirror Southern edition.
RIDSDALE-SMITH CHRISTOPHER 1933–2014. Died peacefully in hospital on 3 December aged 81. Much loved father to Clare, Mark and Paul, he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A thanksgiving service will be held at 2.30pm on Saturday 21 February 2015 at Worplesdon Church.
