As ever, the Trinity term was a busy one on the cricket pitch. The U12A and U14A teams both reached their County Cup finals, with the U12s winning by eight wickets against Dragon School at picturesque Wormsley. Bolstered by Julian’s (Upper Sixth) 200, the 1st XI beat Bromsgrove by an impressive 328 runs earlier in the season. June saw MCS play its first all-girls cricket fixture against Cokethorpe School in a competitive match on Christchurch Field.
This edition also includes news of the School’s win at the National Hockey Championships, Oxford Festival of the Arts, The Three Musketeers premiering at Oxford Playhouse, Founders’ Day and the term’s other sporting and musical highlights.
