Magdalen College School (MCS) is proud to reconfirm its support for the Oxford Living Wage – having been the first Oxford school to sign up to the scheme in 2022. As a result, everyone working at MCS will continue to be paid at or above the Oxford Living Wage of £13.16 an hour.
The Oxford Living Wage is set at 95% of the London Living Wage, as determined by the Living Wage Foundation. The rates are calculated each year by the Resolution Foundation using an established methodology to ensure people earn enough to afford a minimum acceptable standard of living.
Our renewed accreditation underlines our commitment to paying a fair wage, and to supporting our colleagues and the wider community of Oxford.
