What a day for a match! The sun was out in full force this afternoon, providing the perfect backdrop for our highly anticipated House Netball Tournament 2026.

The round-robin stages saw some incredibly tight games and plenty of smiles on the court. All six houses—Callander, Chavasse, Leicester, Maltby, Walker-Dunn, and Wilkinson-Blagden—brought their A-game.

Whether it was a display of remarkable defensive strength or lightning-fast mid-court transitions, every team showed off their unique flair. It was a joy to see the players working together so effectively, with every pass and goal celebrated by teammates in the spirit of friendly competition.

After a series of nail-biting matches, the final results are in:
1. Maltby (Winners)
2. Chavasse (Runners-up)
3. Wilkinson
4. Walker
5. Leicester
6. Callander

Maltby emerged as the team to beat this year, winning every single game convincingly with clinical finishing in the shooting circle to claim the trophy. Chavasse followed closely as runners-up, showing great persistence and teamwork to secure three wins and a draw.

Wilkinson impressed the sidelines with their skill and determination to take third place, while Walker showed true sportsmanship, never letting their heads drop despite some tough fixtures. Leicester demonstrated immense resilience throughout the afternoon, and while Callender didn’t find a win this time, they inspired everyone with their tireless work ethic and 100% dedication in every game.

A huge thank you to the PE department for organising the event and to the umpires for helping the afternoon run so smoothly.
