Yesterday evening saw a fantastic opening night of Lower School Theatre Academy production Bugsy Malone. After months of hard work, the cast delivered a vibrant and confident performance that was warmly received by the audience. Their dedication and enjoyment on stage shone through, setting a wonderful tone for the second and final performance this evening.

Set in the lively yet tumultuous world of 1920s New York, the production brought to life the chaotic rivalry between mob boss Dandy Dan and speakeasy owner Fat Sam, complete with splurge‑gun mayhem and spirited musical numbers. The pupils captured the humour, charm and energy of the story with real flair, guiding the audience through Bugsy’s entanglement in the city’s criminal escapades—an entertaining journey that proved both funny and full of character.

The final performance will take place tonight at 7:00pm in Big School, with doors opening at 6:40pm.
