The MCS medical centres provide a confidential space where pupils, staff, visitors, and members of the local community can come to gain advice, education, and treatment for a wide variety of concerns.

As well as our three health professionals, we work closely with the school’s pastoral and safeguarding teams, along with our two part time resident counsellors, the school physiotherapist, and GPs from St. Clements surgery.

“Our door is always open.”

Our services include:

  • Sports injury advice
  • Emergency first aid treatment
  • Provision of first aid cover at school functions and sport fixtures
  • Referrals to the mental health practitioner or school counsellors
  • Vaccinations
  • Colour blind (Ishihara) testing for all pupils new to the Junior School
  • A place for pupils to rest (when they’re not trying to escape class)
