The Waynflete Office has been informed of the passing of Lister Howell, aged 81. Lister attended Magdalen College School in 1953-1960, before attending art school in the hopes to become an artist. However, after three years he decided to change career paths and qualified as a solicitor in 1970. Lister’s law career took him to Hong Kong where he set up his own firm of solicitors in 1980. He semi-retired by 2015 and returned to his love of painting.
