We are excited that during the coming decade MCS will become fully co-educational, offering places to high-achieving boys and girls as we prepare for our 550th anniversary in 2030.

The decision is a natural next step as we celebrate 15 successful years of co-education in the Sixth Form. Welcoming girls also coincides with the first of our bursary fundraising targets – £15million in 2030 – furthering our mission to support financially any child who will thrive here. The decision marks an exciting moment in the history of MCS: moving to full co-education, securing planning permission for the Science, Library & Partnerships Building, and building our endowment fund – reflecting the dynamism and confidence with which we are looking to the future.
