As part of their ongoing Lilium curriculum – our bespoke PSHCE programme – pupils in J3 and J4 benefited from expert advice about their screen time from Tanya Goodin, best-selling digital wellbeing author, this week.
Tanya – well-known for her game changing books ‘The Teenage Guide to Digital Wellbeing’, ‘My Brain Has Too Many Tabs Open’ and ‘Stop Staring at Screens’ – is a passionate campaigner about healthy screen time. During her talk she encouraged pupils to be more mindful about the time they spend on their devices, giving them useful tips about how to live in the here and now.
We are also grateful to Tanya for speaking to Junior School parents about how they can support their children to develop a positive and balanced relationship with technology – and for her suggestions about how to work together as a family to set healthy boundaries and build positive habits at a young age.
A huge thank you to Tanya for a practical and insightful evening.
