We are delighted to be celebrating alongside our pupils who have received Oxbridge offers this month. 43 pupils in the year group have secured places at Oxford or Cambridge universities, including ten to study Medicine. This represents around a quarter of the cohort and one of our strongest Oxbridge outcomes in recent years, reflecting an exceptional level of commitment, ambition and hard work.

Applying to Oxbridge takes courage and sustained effort over many months—and often years. Success comes not only from academic excellence, but also from the many wider interests and experiences that allow pupils to stand out in such a competitive process. We are enormously proud of all those who took on this challenge.

Earlier this month we heard that Vedant had been successful in his application to Columbia University – one amongst a breadth of destinations already opening up for this year group, with pupils beginning to receive offers from an impressive range of universities in the UK and overseas. Each offer marks an important milestone and individual achievement.

As pupils move into their final terms and turn their attention towards the exams ahead, we hope they will also make the most of everything on offer beyond the classroom. There is much to look forward to in sport, music and drama, from exciting fixtures and performances to the always hotly contested House Singing before half term, led by our Upper Sixth. Together, these moments—academic, creative and communal—make this final chapter a memorable and rewarding.

Congratulations to all our Upper Sixth on their university offers, we are looking forward to our final months with you!
