It was fantastic to welcome a host of professionals from many different careers to our biennial Careers Fair last night – a flagship school event designed to broaden pupils’ understanding of the vast array of opportunities available to them beyond education.
Amongst those participating at the fair were specialists in medicine, technology, engineering, veterinary, business and environment – including representatives from:
- Google UK
- Standard Chartered Bank
- Tetra Tech
- Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust
- Vivid Architecture
- Wild Oxfordshire
- British Petroleum (BP)
- Oxford University Press
- Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
During the fair, pupils had the opportunity to speak directly with professionals and ask thoughtful questions about their roles and experiences. Exhibitors shared their own career journeys and offered practical advice about the steps pupils might take to pursue a similar path.
