Our annual fundraising report is out now, and available to view below. This publication highlights the remarkable generosity of our community. Once again, we are deeply grateful for the support shown in raising funds for bursaries, which are our enduring strategic priority.

The diversity of excellence that defines MCS is underpinned by our ability to offer places to able children from all backgrounds who will flourish here. Without this, opportunities are lost – not only for individual pupils, but for intellectually interesting discussions among pupils every day at school and for society as a whole.

In this year’s report, we feature the stories of three Old Waynfletes – Zain, Bindi and Ian – who share moving accounts of their experiences at MCS and how these have shaped their futures.

Even with financial headwinds that are affecting the community, it is heartening to see so many OWs, parents of current and former pupils, Governors and Friends of the school continuing to give.

"I am deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed, whether through time, expertise, or financial support. Your continued commitment ensures that the spirit of MCS endures, and that future generations can thrive."

With your support, our bursary endowment fund now stands at just over £10.6 million. This is two-thirds of the way toward our £15 million goal by 2030 so that we secure bursaries in perpetuity by the school’s 550th anniversary.

Philanthropy will play a vital part in ensuring the success of the school in the coming years. Please do get in touch if you’d like to learn more about the role and work of the Waynflete Office.
