Art Scholarships (13+)

The closing date for application is Friday 10 January 2025 and portfolios should be submitted by 8.30am on Monday 3 March 2025. Art Scholarship Assessments will take place on Thursday 13th March.

To apply you just need to either upload a reference from your Head of Art below or ask them to email it to [email protected]. Then press submit below.

Art Scholarships (13+)

The closing date for application is Friday 9 January 2026 and portfolios should be submitted by 8.30am on Monday 3 March 2025. Art Scholarship Assessments will take place on Thursday 12th March.

You do not need to provide any further information at this stage. Just submit this form and we will be in touch closer to the time with more information

Art Scholarships (16+)

The closing date for application is Friday 10 October 2025 and digital portfolios should be submitted by 8.30am on Friday 31 October.

Art Scholarship Assessments will take place on Saturday 8 November.

Drama Scholarship

The closing date for application is Friday 10 October 2025 and Drama Scholarship Assessments will take place on Saturday 8 November.

You do not need to provide any further information at this stage. Just submit this form and we will be in touch closer to the time with more information

Music Scholarship (16+)

The closing date for application is Friday 5 December 2025 and Music Scholarship Auditions will take place on Wednesday 28 January 2026. During the audition, candidates will be expected to play all instruments listed in their application.

Applications to other schools

If your son is auditioning for music awards at other schools, please list below all the schools (including Magdalen College School) in order of preference. It is essential that ALL schools are shown in order of preference on this form, and that the order is the same on the application forms sent to other schools. If Magdalen College School is your only choice, please write ‘none’ in the other spaces. We have an agreement with other schools in the Music Teachers’ Association that if the first choice school offers a Music Scholarship then no other Music Scholarships will be offered.

If your son has already accepted a music award of any kind at another senior school, he cannot attempt our Music Awards auditions without the written permission of that school.

Sports Scholarship (16+)

The closing date for application is Friday 10 October 2025 and Sports Scholarship Assessments will take place on Saturday 8 November 2025.
