Designing a Sustainable Future: What a Career in Consulting Looks Like

We were pleased to welcome Will Schreiber, Director at 3Keel Group Limited, to deliver a seminar on careers in sustainability consultancy, “Designing a Sustainable Future: What a Career in Consulting Looks Like”. The session explored how climate change is already shaping global business and how consultants help organisations respond by developing more sustainable strategies.

Schreiber outlined what a career in sustainability consulting involves, highlighting the importance of data-driven analysis and evidence-based advice. He shared examples of how his team works with organisations to transform food systems and supply chains, and spoke about his work on sustainable commodities and his role with the Retail Soy Group. The seminar was highly engaging for pupils, as they asked a few thoughtful questions during the discussion.

Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience in the field, Schreiber talked pupils through his career journey, from his university degree to his current role in sustainability consulting. This gave pupils a helpful insight into the different steps that can lead to a career in the sector and helped them begin to imagine how they might plan their own pathways.
