Insurances

The School naturally has the full range of liability and professional insurance required by law.

The School does not however, insure individual pupils items of personal clothing and equipment. Parents are expected to arrange Kit Insurance through a household or personal scheme. If an item of personal equipment can prove to have been lost or stolen as a direct result of negligence on the part of the School, compensation may be paid.

All parents are encouraged to take Accident Insurance as part of the School Group scheme, the costs of which are charged in advance as an extra. Accident Insurance can be provided through the School for £6.00 per term.

School Fee Remission insurance is available and covers the refund of school fees should a pupil have a prolonged absence through illness or accident. Details are available from the Bursary.

There are a number of insurance schemes that will provide School Fee Insurance in the event of the death of a parent or a parent's loss of income. The School does not endorse any specific firm or scheme, but is willing to provide details of a number of firms so that parents can make their own choice.

Travel Insurance is provided for all School Trips.
