Third Formers have visited the Oxford Central mosque, as a culmination of their study of Islam this term. The students met with Zaheer Qureshi, a member of the mosque committee who spoke to us about living as a Muslim in today’s world and ways in which the community addresses its challenges.
The students also had an opportunity to ask questions, which ranged from practical to theological. We hope that this experience will help our students better to understand and appreciate Islam in our multi-faith society.
