MCS U6th pupil Theo is celebrating his successful completion of an ultra-marathon on Saturday September 7. Theo completed the challenging 50.6k race in an impressive 5:03:12, well below the 5 and half hour target he had set himself. It was a double celebration since Theo was running in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and also hit his target of raising an impressive £500.

His motivation was the arrival of Thora, a hearing assistance dog who joined his household to help his sister. Theo says ‘Thora made an incredible impression for day one, changing all our lives for the better with her ever-positive and energetic personality’.

Theo was joined on the ultra-marathon by a team of family and friends who have been his training partners and who also ran in support of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Congratulations Theo on your fantastic achievement.
