v Warwick: U15B beat Sibford and Warwick in a triangular; U15C lost 48-12; U14B won 35-0; U14C lost 32-14

v PGS: 1st XV drew 28-28; 2nd XV lost 35-14; U16A lost 33-7; U16B won 48-24; U15A won 42-7; U14B won 38-19; U13A won 3-2; U13B lost 7-4; U13C lost 6-4; U12A lost 5-4; U12B won 5-3; U12C won 4-2

Girls’ Hockey

County Tournament: The 1st XI beat both Bloxham and Lord Williams’, as well as drawing with Headington to come top in their first group. Following this, they progressed to the semi-final, where they quickly went 1-0 down v Tudor Hall. However, a determined fightback saw the team score 3 goals and complete the victory. The MCS team faced St Edward’s in the final, but the team played with control and skill finishing to win 2-0. This is the second year in a row that the side has won the county title and they now progress to the regional finals.

v Rye St Anthony: 2nd XI won 2-0


U14A beat Wellingborough Prep to progress to the knockout round of the national competition.

The U16s also followed suit v Bishop Stopford College winning in straight sets. Good luck to both teams in the next round.


1st team beat Cheltenham College 13-3

The team of the week is the 1st XI Girls’ Hockey side for retaining the county title and progressing through to the regional finals.
