County Tournament: The County Netball Tournament was rearranged for this weekend. The tournament took the format of a round robin with 4 matches in total. Despite a close 5-4 loss to Cherwell followed by a second defeat against St Helen’s and St Katherine’s, the girls remained positive moving into the 3rd fixture. After one match off, the girls fought hard against Tudor Hall, a team they had lost to twice earlier in the season and took a 5-5 draw. The final match v Headington was even and 5 goals all at half time, but finished with a score of 7-9 having had chances to take the lead.

v Bromsgrove : 1st team won 13-3

Nearly 30 of our rowers took part in the MCS Plum Puddings Christmas Regatta on Saturday. We were forced indoors due to the wind, but still managed to have a competitive and entertaining afternoon, with relay events on the rowing machines. The top two teams were separated by a whisker - 5 metres in the 20 minute race and .1 of a second in the 2km, but the winners (thanks to Dan's mince pie eating speed) were Dan Bradbery, Freddie McElwaine-John, Raphael Thurston and Peter Crossley. Congratulations to all who attended.
