Girls’ Hockey

Regional Qualifier: The 1st XI played in their Regional Tournament, following their success at the county tournament. A convincing win over Lancing, 3-1, gave the girls great confidence for the remainder of the day. They lost to a very strong Wellington College side, meaning a draw in their final game would see them through. They stormed to a 3-0 win over Sir William Borlase’s, having lost to them earlier in the season. This means the girls’ now face Beaconsfield High next week, as they aim to reach the top 4 in the South of England.

Boys’ Hockey

Regional Indoor Preliminaries: The boys finished their pool undefeated and now move on to the South Qualifiers. 3-0 wins against Bradfield, RGS High Wycombe and John Hampden meant the side had already qualified before their final pool game v Abingdon. They drew this game 1-1, which meant that MCS & John Hampden qualified for the next round.
