A warm welcome

The Junior School enjoyed a wonderful welcome service in the college chapel this week.

The service was led by our own school chaplain, Rev’d Dr Tess Kuin Lawton who gave a lovely address about our origins as a school and how kindness, thinking of others and friendship underpins our ethos. Oscar Wedmore (Head Boy) read the Parable of the Good Samaritan and Mr Skipwith the Two of Us from Winnie the Pooh

The acoustics in Chapel are stunning and for a fleeting moment, it rang with some of our favourite and most lively JS hymns. Thank you to the College for allowing us to introduce the new academic year in this rather special way again.
