MCS welcomed OW Tom Piper MBE to undertake a special installation of 50 poppies from the Tower of London in the Dining Hall, to represent the 50 OWs who died in World War I. Tom co-designed the poppy installation that was at the Tower in 2014 and is now touring the country.
Whilst not working on the installation, he met Head of Drama Alex Thomas to discuss the school musical 1917 and met the MCS Art Scholars.
After school there was a moving dedication ceremony in the Dining Hall, to which a number of parents, OWs and other supporters of MCS were invited.
